Hey everyone! So this recipe is perfect for those burger lovin' vegetarians like myself (: And it has fiber, healthy fats, like avocado, and lots of protein! How could you resist? I can wait to try it. Let's get started!
iNGREDiENTS;
• 1 Boca Original Vegan Meatless Patty
• 2 slices of whole wheat bread
• Chopped avocado
• 2 slices of tomato
• Spinach leave
• Slice of your favorite cheese or fat-free feta cheese
• Hummus
HOW TO MAKE iT;
O1; spray non-stick skillet spray (preferable made with vegetable oil) on a skillet and cook your vegan patty until it's sizzling hot.
O2; prepare your slices of whole wheat bred (I like to toast mine!) and place them on a plate, ready for your patty.
O3; Wash the tomato and cut it into slices for your burger.
O4; Wash a handful of spinach leaves.
O5; Grab your favorite cheese (I used chedder, but feta will give your burger an authentic Mediterranean flavor), and place the tomato, avacado, and spinach leaves toppings onto the patty.
O6; Instead of loading your other piece of bread with mayo, spead hummus on it instead. Not only is it a healtheir option, it will give your burger it's Mediterranean flavor!
O7; eat up and enjoy your delicious creation!
